Todo por decidir en la jornada final de mañana

La penúltima jornada de la Lanzarote International Regatta deja cambios en los podios provisionales y centra la atención en mañana, último día.

Unas condiciones de seis a diez nudos de viento y ola larga han hecho que la penúltima jornada de la Lanzarote International Regatta, disputada hoy sábado en Marina Rubicón, haya sido un día en el que la táctica ha sido clave.

En 470 Mixto los portugueses Diogo Costa y Carolina Joao han tenido su mejor día hasta el momento, con un segundo y dos victorias parciales. El gran rendimiento de hoy, unido a un día menos afortunado para Silvia Mas y Alex Marsans (3-4-3) les aúpan al liderato provisional, mientras que los españoles pasan a ocupar la segunda plaza a un solo punto de distancia.

Destacada también la actuación de Elena Berta y Giulio Calabro (1-2-2), que conforman nueva tripulación después de que Elena participase en París 2024 junto a Bruno Festo. Con todo, los italianos no logran colarse en un podio que cierran los portugueses Bea Gago y Rodolfo Pires.

En ILCA 7 han hecho también tres pruebas con cambio total en el podio. Dos olímpicos en París 2024, el holandés Duko Bos y el montenegrino Mikivoj Dukic, cogen el testigo de Jonatan Vadnai y Pavlos Kontides, primero y segundo ayer respectivamente, que hoy no han competido. El esloveno Luka Zabukovec es tercero.

Mañana domingo se disputa a partir de las 13:00 hora peninsular la última jornada.

La Lanzarote International Regatta está organizada por Marina Rubicón y cuenta con el patrocinio de Turismo Lanzarote a través de su producto turístico deportivo “Lanzarote Sports Destination”, Cabildo de Lanzarote a través del Servicio Insular de Deportes, los Centros de Arte, Cultura y Turismo del Cabildo de Lanzarote y el Ayuntamiento de Yaiza; y la colaboración, entre otros, de la Federación Canaria de Vela, las federaciones de Vela Latina y DinghyCoach.
